I have been running with some of my friends in the "Sunday Runners" for about 20 years. I met Mary and Robert Miller, Jean and Jeannie Seelbach, Martha Landis and Janine Flagg in the mid-1980's. I trained for the Big Sur marathon with Maxine Adler in the early 1990's. I started running with Chuck and Ilona Lindauer, Lew Franklin, and Gary Latshaw in the mid-1990's when a group of us trained for the Paris Marathon. We ran the Napa marathon in March, 1997, and ran the Paris marathon in April, 1997. Sometimes we hike instead of running. We all hiked to the top of Half Dome in July, 2003. Jim went too!

Right now it is almost Summer, 2005, and there are many things still in bloom in the garden. Especially noteworthy are the hydrangeas, bower vines, and ground cover roses. The raspberries are really prolific (and delicious!) this season.
